Password protection

Ordinary USB flash drives enable fast and easy access to the data saved on the flash drive. This can sometimes become a problem, since in some cases it would be preferable to maintain the data unavailable for unauthorized. This could be feasible by installing software on the flash drive that requires the user to type a password before getting access to the data saved on the flash drive. The risks to lose the flash drive, and thereby the risk that unauthorized get access to sensitive data, can be high and one approach to reduce this risk is by using a password protection. USB flash drives with password protection work perfectly for use within workplaces where documents are frequently transferred. Both frequently used but also where it simultaneously is required that documents remain accessible only to the owner.

Lock the flash drive so that unauthorized users can't get to your documents.
